Sandra L. Tate, M.D.

Dr. Sandra Tate, a physiatrist, received her bachelor’s degree from Anderson University in Indiana and her medical degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. She completed an internship and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Dr. Tate is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine, the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

Dr. Tate provides nonoperative care to neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Tate has served as Medical Director of the SSM Outpatient Rehabilitation Center and Medical Director of the Outpatient Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Her special interests are electrodiagnostics, industrial medicine, cumulative trauma disorders, chronic pain, and medical acupuncture.
