Christopher J. Lenarz, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Lenarz is a fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow specialist with extensive training in all modern treatments including arthroscopic and joint reconstruction surgery. He earned his bachelor's degree at Cornell College with majors in Chemistry and Biochemistry. He then went on to complete his medical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Thereafter, he came to Saint Louis to complete his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Saint Louis University. His final capstone in training was completed with a year of shoulder and elbow fellowship training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Lenarz has extensive training in all state of the art orthopedic treatments. He performs arthroscopic and joint reconstructive/replacement surgery as well as implements new innovative techniques. One of these techniques includes an all arthroscopic total shoulder resurfacing (replacement).

He joined the physicians at St. Louis Orthopedic Institute in August 2011 and is currently on the medical staff at St. Clare Health Center, Mercy Medical Center, Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Mason Ridge Surgery Center.
